Harun Arıkan is Associate Professor in the Department of International Relations at Çukurova University. Dr. Harun Arıkan is a head of department of international relations at Cukurova University where he has been teaching since 2008. Dr. Arıkan graduated from Istanbul University; then he received a master degree in European studies from Manchester University and PhD in international relations from Birmingham University. Previously Dr. Arıkan served as a chair of department of international relations at Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University. He has been a research fellow at the Oxford University; a visiting scholar at University of Southern Maine and Portland State University in USA. Dr. Arikan has been a member of scientific Associations, including Turkish Associations for European Community Studies (TUNAECS) and European community studies Association in Canada (ECSA-C.). He has published a number of books and articles in European integrations, Turkish foreign policy and democratization. Dr. Arıkan is currently working on Turkey-USA relations.

Elife Hatun Kilicbeyli is Associate Professor in the Department of International Relations at Çukurova University. Dr. E.H.Kilicbeyli born in Adana. She completed her studies at the Cukurova University. She received her PhD in International Relations and World Economy from the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia. She stayed as an academician in Moscow State Lomonosov University and East University of RAN between 1994-1997. She returned to Turkey at the end of 1999, she was served as a founder-chair of International Relations Department between 2000-2004 in Cukurova University. Previously she worked in IMF-Moscow Office, and coordinated EBRD as a 'Regional Expert' on EU Projects. She has been a visiting scholar at Padua University, Italy; Aristoteles University in Thessaloniki, Greece; Warsaw State University,Poland and Turku University, Finland. She has been a member of scientific Associations, including CESS -Harvard, USA ; ESCAS-Leiden Uni, Netherlands; CLIOHnet, Pisa, Italy; EuPRA, Brussels, Belgium; SVA, Moscow; Russia; KULTURAD, Istanbul, Turkey and BSB, Ankara, Turkey . She has published various contributions concerning Russian, Turkish, Tatar, European, Central Asian and Caucassian political, social, economical, religious, cultural and gender history in English, Russian and Turkish languages. She is particularly interested in International Organisations, Post-Soviet Sovereignity States, Eurasianism, Geopolitics of Energy, Strategic Games, Regional Power's Foreign Policy, Security.

Marella Bodur Ün is assistant professor in the Department of International Relations at Çukurova University, and vice-chair of the Department of International Relations, where she has been teaching since 2006. She is also the vice-director of Women’s Studies Research Center of Çukurova University. Dr. Bodur Ün graduated from Boğaziçi University. She received her MA in Political Science and International Relations from Boğaziçi University and her Ph.D. in Political Science from Carleton University, Canada. Her main research interests are gender, ethnicity and politics in the Middle East, the relationship between social movements and democracy, and the impact of transnational social movements on world politics and on IR theory.

Fulya Memişoğlu is Assistant Professor in the Department of International Relations at Çukurova University. She holds a Ph.D. in Politics and International Relations from University of Nottingham, a M.A. degree in International Relations from University of Warwick and a B.A. degree in International Relations from Bilkent University. She has research interests in comparative European politics, nationalism studies, international human rights law and its institutions. Her current research focuses on ethnic mobilisation, migration and asylum policies in Southeast Europe.

Aslı E. Çomu is Assistant Professor in the Department of International Relations at Çukurova University. Aslı E. Çomu has been teaching in the department since 2011. Dr. Çomu graduated from the Department of International Relations, Bilkent University. She continued her graduate studies at the Bogazici University and the University of Cambridge where she received an M.A. and PhD in History respectively. She has several publications on the forced migration, Ottoman economic and social history in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and the history of Adana and Mersin.

Duygu Tanrıverdi is research assistant in the Department of International Relations at Çukurova University. She received her M.A. degree in economy from CIHEAM (International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies, Montpellier, France) and a B.A. degree in Political Science from Middle East Technical University. She is a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science under the joint supervision programme between EHESS  (L’Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales), France, and  Marmara University, Turkey. Her areas of interest include political parties, Turkish politics, Middle East and political Islam.

Gökçe Yiğit is research assistant in the Department of International Relations at Çukurova University. She got her bachelor's degree from Hacettepe University with a major of International Relations in 2009. She is a master student in the Department of International Relations at Cukurova University and is expected to get her degree in 2012.

Ahmet Borazan is research assistant in the Department of International Relations at  Çukurova University. Ahu Şenses is research assistant in the Department of International Relations at Çukurova University. She is a PhD candidate in the Department of International Relations at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, and is expected to receive her degree in 2013. She graduated from the Middle East Technical University, Department of International Relations, in 2001 and holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and European Studies from the University of Kent at Canterbury in the UK. Ms Şenses had previously served as an attaché in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and as a research assistant in the Department of International Relations at the Middle East Technical University.  Her areas of interest include nationalism, diaspora studies, Turkish politics, and gender studies. Ms Şenses is currently working on her doctoral thesis concerning changing conceptions of territoriality and homeland  in the face of transnationalism
